Last month we delivered 96.7% of all order lines On Time and In Full
This represents a 0.5% drop on our August OTIF. Although we'd prefer to report a perfect delivery record every time, it is not always possible as a distributor to manage all the factors that affect OTIF.
When we looked at the reasons behind our OTIF dip, we found that materially delayed inbound logistics from some of our vendors directly contributed to most of the delivery issues.
This serves to remind us that, as a distribution partner, we don't work in isolation but rather as a link in a longer supply chain. In fact, we often serve as a supply extension to our customers’ businesses, taking care of delivering their goods so they’re free to focus on what they do best.
