Yale Bi-fold Door Locks

If it simply has to be Lockmaster®, you’re going to love the latest addition to the Window Ware range – Yale’s new Lockmaster® slim 28mm backset multi-point lock, which is specially designed to fit the narrow sight lines of modern aluminium bi-fold doors.

The Lockmaster® 28mm lock comes in two variants: a standard 16mm euro groove option which fits Smarts and Exlabesa profiles, plus a 24mm u-channel model to suit AluK aluminium systems.

Renowned Lockmaster quality for bi-folds

The newest members of the Lockmaster® family offer everything you’d expect from Yale’s best-selling lock: hook and anti-lift pins, a deadbolt centre and pre-compression roller cams for superior security, slick operation, robustness and optimal weather sealing. As with all Yale products, they’ve undergone rigorous quality and security checks to give fabricators and homeowners every assurance. This hardware is PAS 24: 2016 compliant, corrosion resistant to British Standards BS EN 1670: 2007 Grade 4, as well as protected by a 10-year mechanical guarantee and Lifetime Security Guarantee.

Meeting the bi-fold boom

Window Ware Commercial Director, Richard Bryant commented, “The UK fenestration market has seen a huge growth in bifold doors. Palmer Research predicts an increase of up to 28% over the period of 2017 to 2021*. We’re excited to be able to extend the renowned Lockmaster® range to encompass increasingly popular bi-fold doors too. This gives door manufacturers a greater choice of industry-leading hardware all in one place, plus the peace of mind that comes with using a quality British brand. For door-fabricating fans of the Lockmaster® range, this newest addition means they can suite across all door locks for ease of fabrication and simpler stock holding.”

The Lockmaster® 28mm backset 16mm faceplate edition is in stock and available to order from Window Ware today. Call the sales team on 01234 242724, email [email protected] or visit our website.
