How To Re-Hand a GU Multipoint Secury Europa Door Lock

Ever wondered how to reverse the latch on a multipoint door lock? This guide will show you how to re-hand the GU Secury Europa door lock in just 3 easy steps.

What you will need:

- Screw driver with a Torx T20 head.

Please note this process can be completed while the door lock is in the door so no need to remove the lock.

Step 1: Pull the handle up to throw the locking points out.

This is not essential but makes the job easier to complete.

Step 2: Insert the screw driver into the screw situated in the centre of the latch.

Step 3: Once the screw is undone remove the latch and turn it round to correct handing. 

Screw the screw back in and test the lock.

To Re-Hand a GU Multipoint Door Lock use the following instructions:

  1. Pull the handle up to throw the locking points out.
  2. Insert the screw driver into the screw situated in the centre of the latch and undo.
  3. Remove the latch and turn it round to correct handing and then screw the screw back in.
