Apres apprenticeship - Unlocking potential

We’d like to officially welcome Stella Napoli to the team who joined us about a month ago as our new customer service apprentice.

Over the course of a year, she’ll be working with us 4 days a week in our Bedford office to support our customer-facing departments, as well as kick-start her career with some practical office experience which, at the end of her studies, will give her the edge over other graduates entering the workplace. For the remaining 1 day a week, she’ll continue her training and development.

Practical learning with great people

Stella reckons her stint at a local fastfood restaurant has given her plenty of experience of handling customers, but admits it will take her a while to grow her product knowledge and get the hang of our massive 6500+ product range! She has no doubt that she’ll get there in the end, but it’s a pretty daunting prospect nonetheless!

It seems even from the get-go, we made a positive first impression on our newest recruit! Stella explained, “When I came for my first and second interviews, everyone was super friendly and welcoming. From that moment, I knew Window Ware was the right place to develop my customer service skills.”

Bridging skills gaps on both sides

Managing Director, Sam Nuckey, commented, “Appreticeships are a win-win for students and employers. At the same time, Stella will get on-the-job training to boost her confidence, expand her skill-set and fast track the first steps of her career. We’re very pleased to have her on our team.”
